When I was working at a University last fall, my immediate supervisor was in her early seventies and she always used the expression when helping people find research, "You don't know what you don't know". The full meaning of that phrase is still unraveling today. As I look back over the last couple of months of my life that I have been to different farmers market locations in search of changing the way my family eats, I realize that making this decision to eat local, fresh foods was one of the smartest things I have ever done.
