McGrath Family Farm is a four generation family farm that boasts the deepest topsoil in the state. This helps them to grow a tremendous seasonal crop. They always list what is in season on their webpage. This winter you can expect these organic fruits and vegetables: artichokes, beets, broccoli, carrots, English peas, Winter Squash, Lettuces, Parsnips, Favas, Cauliflower, Greens, Chard, Collards, Oranges, Mandarins and Tangerines.

At McGrath Family Farm, they use integrate the use of flowers as a part of their sustainable farming methods. They border some crops with wildflowers to increase pollinizations. Their flowers are grown seasonally and organically as well and some of them are even edible!

The farm is open for farm tours on weekdays from 9am-5pm and have U-Pick hours from 11:00am-4:00pm. They have even opened a farm market on site in addition to the various farmers market locations they also attend, now you can come out to the farm and get your food or participate in their CSA. If you are too busy during the week to come out to farm. Stop by the Hollywood Farmers' Market on Sundays year round from 8am-1pm and pick up your Organic foods from McGrath Family Farm that way.
